Plan your next trip to Stony Brook State Park – in the park’s picnic area you will find plenty of tables and charcoal grills for your use. Bring your glove and ball to toss around the baseball diamond or your racket to swing on the tennis court. The kids are sure to have a great time enjoying all the fun of the park’s playground. There are also comfort stations and a concession stand, both open seasonally. If you’re planning an event, there are two shelters available to reserve for reunions, parties, and weddings. If one day at Stony Brook just isn’t enough the campground offers 125 tent and trailer sites and eight cabins. Each site contains a picnic table, a fire ring, and is located near a comfort station with flush toilets and hot showers.Terrain comprises hilly woodlands, a deep gorge with rugged cliffs overlooking three waterfalls, and fascinating rock formations. Camping, swimming in gorge pool, picnicking, tennis, hiking, and cross-country skiing available.
