Haunted History Trail of New York State

The Haunted History Trail of New York State is every ghost lover’s dream, offering over 90 spine-chilling locations hiding in plain sight. From haunted hotels to eerie restaurants, museums to historic landmarks, each site teems with paranormal activity waiting to be experienced firsthand. Take part in ghost hunts, and guided tours, or book a stay at one of the haunted inns for a chance to encounter over 400 years of chilling history. And just remember, these are only the locations people have reported…who knows what else is waiting to be found in The Finger Lakes.

Lake Ontario Wine Trail

The Lake Ontario Wine Trail stretches from the eastern corner of Monroe County NY, encompasses the vast majority of Wayne County and now stretches into Cayuga County.

Due to our location along the shores of Lake Ontario, our wineries, cideries, brewery, and farms produce some of the best fruit in New York State. Our soil and climate, coupled with our years of experience in the industry, make our wines, spirits, and hard ciders unique. Each bottle is handcrafted with care; with each look, smell, and sip, we are offering you a small taste of what we have to offer.

Cayuga Lake Scenic Byway

Immerse yourself in a glacial landscape carved thousands of years ago. Your 86-mile journey will take you through communities rich in history and tradition. It’s all here just waiting for you, year-round, to explore!

You’ll experience the landscape from the south end’s hill country to the north end’s 9,800-acre wetland flats. See breathtaking waterfalls cascading down the steep hillsides replenishing the sparkling water of Cayuga Lake. Farms and vineyards line gently rolling slopes cultivating a bounty of crops that are transformed into award-winning food and drink. Bald eagles and osprey ply the waters of Cayuga Lake for their next meal of freshwater fish, prized by human anglers alike.
