The 1841 Peppermint Museum is both the first and last place of the industry that made Lyons famous world-wide. Ten rooms hold articles of the peppermint oil process.  A tour of the building will tell the story of the Hiram and Leman Hotchkiss brothers’ decision to relocate from Phelps to a Lyons building along the original Erie Canal.
