Waterman Conservation Education Center includes nature trails for hiking, cross country skiing and snowshoeing that allow visitors to examine and enjoy trees, grasses, wildlife tracks, nesting boxes and a gorge with a stream. The main building houses a museum where visitors will find numerous exhibits and interpretative displays about local wildlife along with the Center’s Nature Shop, classroom space, a reference library and offices. The Lolita Waterman Wildlife Gardens on the property are designed to educate landowners on how to incorporate native plantings into their own landscape plans and attract wildlife.
