About Brave Women FLX

Dignified. Relentless. Compassionate. Unapologetic. Heroic.

These are just some of the words that describe the women who shattered the glass ceiling for those who came after them. Abolishing slavery. Securing women’s right to vote. Carving a path for female entrepreneurship and gender equality. Taking a stand to promote justice for all. These movements were started centuries ago with some of our nation’s most courageous and visionary women at the forefront. Women like Harriet Tubman, Dr. Elizabeth Blackwell, Susan B. Anthony and Jikonsaseh.

You probably recognize some of these names, and there may be some you don’t. But one thing is for certain: the impact of their tenacity is still shaking the ground today. One thing they all had in common? They were women making history with New York State’s Finger Lakes region as their stomping grounds. And we invite you to walk along the trails they blazed.
